Yesterday, I had the opportunity to view an amazing 2 bedroom unit in a very underrated development, 1800 Biscayne Plaza. The listing was unit 2010, a “true” 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom unit with over 1,000 sqft of space. The brief and concise description to the article may make this listing sound like your typical basic condo, but let me clarify: It isn’t typical at all.
For $330,000/$303 sqft, this listing is a great value for the buck. After doing the research and looking at other units below $350,000, there’s no other unit in the area that has all the benefits this one for the price. Some of these selling points are:
- A true 2 bedroom floor plan, not a loft style floor plan.
- Stunning north views with partial views of the water.
- Newer construction (2005, not 20th century).
- Washer and dryer inside the unit
- A convenient location, walking distance to parks, shopping, and more.
At first glance, I took immediate notice that the apartment was in very good shape and also had several upgrades. Some of these upgrades include Italian porcelain floors throughout, granite counter tops and crown molding. As I mentioned above, it has a very nice sized balcony with stunning views facing north towards Midtown and Biscayne Bay.
In my opinion, 1800 Biscayne Plaza doesn’t get as much attention as other nearby buildings and it absolutely should. For starters, it is strategically placed between Wynwood and the A & E district. Margaret Pace Park, arguably one of the best in the city, is just 2 blocks east. I think it’s also worth mentioning that it’s just across the street from the neighborhood Publix, which means just your unit is just a few steps from the best subs you can find. If you’re reading this and you’re looking for a 2 bedroom in the area without going over $350,000, then you should definitely add this to your list. As a matter of fact, if you are keeping a list, please add it now and thank me later.

In conclusion, there aren’t a lot of “true” 2 bedrooms units for sale under $350,000 in Downtown. Unit 2010 shouldn’t last long before it gets an offer. See it while you can!
