Since its opening last year, Brickell Flatiron has quickly become a renowned landmark worthy of its 1000 Brickell Plaza address. Today, I wanted to go over the reasons why I believe this to be the case:
Location: Brickell’s Epicenter
Located between SW 10th and 11th St on Brickell Plaza, the development’s location is equal parts enviable and convenient, just moments away from the glitzy retail and dining destinations found within Mary Brickell Village and Brickell City Centre. The stroll from the building to both locations is only a few blocks and the area is quickly attracting new dining and retail. I highly recommend taking a stroll around the building to better understand, it’s a very convenient spot that makes you feel as if you’re deep in the center of the city.
While at first it may seem like a deterrent to not be directly on the bay like some neighboring developers (and it could potentially be if you’re a buyer looking for direct views of the water with minimal obstruction), being on this side of the neighborhood also enables a more pleasant walk-ability thanks to the one way intersections that cross directly around the building. This location is the new high standard of what convenient Brickell living is, in my opinion.
Iconic Architecture & Design
Defined by soaring glass, sweeping exposures, and major altitude, the building easily sets itself apart when it comes to its architecture, elite amenities and the attention to detail found in its common areas. Everything from the lobby entrance, the 64th floor amenity floor, to small but significant specifics such as the trims around the elevators and hallways exudes class and sophistication. Nothing throughout the building’s common space feels out of place or like an accident, and every time I visit the building one learns of something new that was done for the convenience of the residents, like the service elevator for valet attendants designed for faster service.
Over the past year, while handling the sales of the remaining penthouses, my best efforts so far have been to let the product speak for itself. These residences, featuring ten foot ceilings, and unobstructed views thanks to being above the 55th floor, are beautifully crafted luxury homes designed for those looking for the highest quality surroundings in our market.
