The incredible Bristol Tower Penthouse #4000 has finally sold! In a story first published by Candace Taylor of The Wall Street Journal, Pharrell Williams’s ultra-luxurious unit finally sold After 3+ years and several price reductions.
MLS records show that the record producer’s 40th floor residence sold for $9,250,000 in an all cash deal. The unit, which was originally listed for over $16 million dollars with a previous firm, went through several price reductions before being re-listed. Listing agent at the time of the sale was Dora Puig and Kathryn Lillis of Luxe Living Realty.
Coming from someone who looks at hundreds of properties every month, I can humbly admit that this is one of the most visually striking penthouses I’ve ever seen. In other words, this place is awesome.
The 9000+ residence was completely decked out with 30′ ceilings, 360 degree city and ocean views, and three levels that take up the entire top of Bristol Tower. Above it all, the unit’s private rooftop terrace featured an outdoor pool, barbecue area, and more stunning views from every direction. The unique amount of space and design makes it a pinnacle of Brickell living.

Most of all, The sale of this apartment for this penthouse makes it the highest residential sale in Brickell this year. However, it still sold for less than what it was paid for in 2007. If the county records are true, then the unit sold for over $3 million dollar less that what it was bought for.
I’ll keep an eye on the building’s activity through the summer. The publicity this sale is getting may help sell other units in Bristol Tower. There have only been 2 sales as of today’ date. Currently, 19 units are on the market.
