New Plan Submitted For 300 Biscayne Blvd Way

Downtown Miami– 300 Biscayne Blvd Way, formerly the site once owned by Ugo Colombo and Diego Lowenstein for the Epic east condo may soon have a different development instead. The 1.25 acre lot, currently empty, now has plans in place for a 70-story, 384-unit condo tower after switching owners. A few years back , this site made news after selling at a record $125 million to Riverwalk East Developments LLC, a company under the ownership of Argentinian businessman Alfredo Coto.  For Mr. Coto, the head of one of Argentina’s most important supermarket chains, Coto Supermarkets, this proposal represents his first major venture in Miami’s development market. After two years of sitting idle, details of Epic East’s replacement are now revealed.

In addition to the 384 units and its 70 stories, the new plan for 300 Biscayne also show that the 817 foot tall building will also include:

  • 561 parking spaces
  • Spa and Pool Deck
  • Lighthouse located on top floor
  • Private elevators (some units)
  • Public river walk

The developers, alongside listed architects Luis Revuelta (who designed neighboring Epic) and Argentinian firm Bodas Miani Anger, revealed an exterior rendering of the building but are yet to show any other renderings of the interiors or how the units will look like. Once I have more information I will provide an update on a new Miami Observer post. One thing for sure: With that determined height and exposure to the Miami River, Biscayne Bay, and Downtown, the views in this building are sure to be incredible.

In terms of location, this site’s potential is tremendous. The fact that it’s only moments away from Whole Foods, Brickell, Bayfront Park and more is only a brief glimpse of how ideal and walk able this building could be. With the Metromover nearby, there are endless other possibilities nearby. I will keep everyone posted on how this project goes along but so far it’s showing the same potential Epic East once had.
