To all my clients, readers, friends and fellow colleagues in regards to Hurricane Matthew.
As we’ve all noticed during the last few days, South Florida is about to experience its first major hurricane since Katrina and Wilma in 2005. Last time I was in this situation, I was still in my teens and saw a hurricane as nothing more than an excuse to stay home and not go to school. 11 years later, things have changed quite a bit.
Fortunately for Miami, the main area of the hurricane seems to be shifting more towards northern Florida. Nevertheless, like anyone else out there, I’ve shifted my focus on making sure I’m prepared in case anything were to happen. Despite the shift of the storm, which may still prove to be hazardous to other parts of the state, I urge everyone to stay alert. Please take the time necessary for preventive measures in order to protect yourselves and your homes.
At this time, I wish you all a safe day and look forward to posting more stories once the storm passes through.
