It may sound like quite a long time but it will be here in the blink of an eye. Ultra Music Festival will be back to the stages of Bayfront Park in 5 months. 3 day tickets for the event are already available on its official site as well as VIP passes. If you or your loved one plan on attending, the time to purchase a ticket is now before they’re sold out! On the other hand, if you happen to be one of my dear readers/clients that would rather avoid the traffic and noise, then consider yourself warned 😉 Take this as an opportunity to plan ahead of time to find a quiet, relaxing spot to spend the weekend in.
Recently named the #1 festival in the world by DJ Mag, the yearly electronic music event is set to take place in Miami for its 18th consecutive year. It will also be the 6th time in which it will be hosted at Bayfront Park. The official date is set to take place during third weekend of March ( March 24,25th and 26th) which will serve as the culmination of Miami’s annual Music Week.. Line ups for next year are yet to be announced but in typical Ultra fashion, it should reflect a wide variety of styles within electronic dance music. Based on the line ups they’ve brought over the last few years , I can assure you that they rarely disappoint. There’s a little bit of everything for everyone.
Some are hesitant when I mention Ultra Music Festival as a source of business. Even though I make plenty of time throughout the weekend to be a part of the fun, it’s also one of my busiest weekends of the year. Earlier this year I was swamped with dozens of calls from people that were in town for the event and were curious about the area. I happened to get a lot of questions in particular on buildings close to the park. The year before was also the same, and I even managed to get a deal done with someone who was in the area working for the event. How’s that for work and play? It was incredible.
On an even broader note, thanks to the live streams provided by the event, Ultra allows Downtown Miami to be seen clearly by millions around the world, many of whom look forward to visiting the city at some point in the future. The lights, music, and spectacle shows Miami as the fun, diverse and welcoming city that it is. I firmly believe that any promotion on the area I specialize in will only serve up for more growth in the future.
I often get mixed reactions when it comes to the event. Some of my friends and clients call it that “time of the year that we don’t discuss” while others, including me, look forward to it. As an avid listener of electronic music, I’m aware that my opinion may be biased on this subject. Nevertheless, I’m not ashamed to admit that I always look forward to it. On a personal note, having Ultra in Miami has given me the opportunity to meet some of the most amazing people, many of whom are now lifelong friends and have even gone on to become clients and refer me to others interested in living here.
If you’re looking for something exciting and new to do, give the festival a chance. If big crowds aren’t your style, feel free to also check out any other event throughout the week.
